Now that summer is coming to an end, I need to find a new foundation. I have been using tinted moisturizer all summer (which is great, but not for the fall and winter for me) Any good recommendations for a good foundation, that is full coverage (doesn't cake though) I have used so many different brands and I just haven't come across any that work well with my skin. In the winter I have normal to dry skin, and sometimes I get random pimples here and there. I don't typically like to use powders because my skin isn't oily at all so the powder tends to look horrible. So any suggestions?? Thanks :)

i have been using only tinted all summer too. i just bought mac pro longwear foundation. it's still "light" but have great coverage and is buildable. it's not a matte finish, or a dewy finish...it's right in between those which is nice. i also really like clinique super balanced foundation for fall/winter too!

Same here! :) When I would go out somewhere special though, I would use Revlon's PhotoReady foundation. I also have normal to dry skin and when I use it, (with my fingers) the product blends so easily and really well! It does not cake, looks natural and gives this really pretty glow to the face :) although, I will admit, it does have a little bit of shimmer, but un-noticeable once you apply your powder over it :)

I'm in love with Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation AND Smashbox Studio Skin foundation!! Both are great for all skin types! Plus, the Studio Skin is paraben FREE!

Try Covergirl's natureluxe foundation! It's a GREAT foundation. It's not full coverage, its mediu, but you can layer it without it caking up at all. And you literally feel like your wearing nothing when you wear this. Even lighter feeling than a tinter moustorizer. I love it!:)

I am in love with the Revlon Colorstay and they also make it for combo/oily skin! Lately I have been mixing it with my Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation but I love wearing it by itself as well. I live in humid Louisiana and it holds up fabulously!

I use MAC Studio Sculpt with a stippling brush and it is flawless. Doesn't fade or oxidize, it just sinks into my skin and blends. I don't break out after using it either, it's a great formula especially because it's a gel-based foundation and not your standard liquid foundation. It was $30 but I am nowhere near finishing it because I use just a dab of it every day and it gives me full coverage!

Thanks everyone, @Empress I have used MAC Studio fix and it broke me out like crazy :( so I am apprehensive to use anymore MAC face products :( Did it make you break out at all? @Jessica I really wanted to try Laura Mercier, do you think that the Silk Creme foundation will be full coverage for me, I get random blemishes here and there (not too often) but I do have areas of my face that is uneven. @Kelly I love Covergirl! but i hate the smell lol @Aubrey do you mix Smashbox and Laura Mercier together, or can you use them alone and will they cover everything up?

Hey Laura! I know, Studio Fix just does not work with acne-prone skin. I swear, just two hours with that goop on and I break out! That's why I was so happy when I found Studio Sculpt! It just works better for me. I found out about it from someone who was using it as a concealer, so it's a light enough formula to wear on the fragile under-eye area. I find that it also helps to always have a moisturizer on when using foundation, regardless of the brand.
