Grow Hair Fast!

Okay so I recently cut like 7 inches off of my hair ( if you look at my profile pictures there are pictures of me before and after the hair cut.) I kind of like it, but I really liked my long hair better....live and learn I guess. Any tips for helping my hair grow faster?  Thanks!

I haven't actually tried this but I know it works because my friend did it after she got a bad haircut with too much chopped off, but taking biotin pills every morning can really help with your hair growth and will speed up the growing process.

there's really no way to control the growth speed of your hair, to be honest. but hair will grow as long as it's healthy. so you can do things like, take vitamins. Fatty acids, vitamins, a, c, e, etc. and go hard on your maintenance. hot oil treatment every 2 weeks, new shampoo, conditioner, and a deep conditioning treatment every other week.

pick a shampoo that is sulfate free. (sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium ethyl sulfate) are all the same sulfates in laundry detergent, which is so terrible to but in your hair lol. and pick a botanical conditioner with less artificial ingredients. I recommend Bioken Enfanti shampoo & conditioner.

for hot oil treatments i like argan oil (moroccan oil, same thing), olive oil, jojoba oil... leave the warm oil in with your hair covered for 15 minutes before shampooing out.
then do the deep conditioning with regular conditioner, covering your hair with a processing cap and sitting under a hooded dryer for 20 minutes then rinsing out with cold water. the heat gets the good juices flowing in and the cold water seals the deal. doing this and just leaving your hair alone for a while will do the trick. this is what i've done for the summer. it definitely grew.

any more questions about stuff like this anyone can leave a comment at my profile or email me or tweet whatever lol

I've heard massaging aloe into your scalp helps. I'm too growing out my hair, I cut off 10 inches for locks of love.

I'm in the same process and I just started using mane an tail conditioner and I do Aussie 3 minute miracle once a week (drugstore $4) I still wash my hair almost everyday and put heat in it almost everyday (3-4x a week) I use treseme heat protectant spray (drugstore) and take biotin 2x a day and haven't changed my diet. My boyfriend has said that my hair looks thicker and longer like everyday. I've seen great change it's longer, stronger and waaaaay shiner and it's been about 2-3 weeks

you could also try this...super simple...try giving yourself a nice scalp massage or brush your hair ofter to stimulate the scalp. blood flow helps hair grow and by stimulating your scalp the blood flow is heavier and will assist in your hair growing quicker :)

Do hair masks! I had that same problem so I've been doing a mustard powder hair mask once a week, and my hair has been growing so fast! I also use castor oil in my conditioner, but don't put too much or else your hair gets oily.

Hey, check out this pin on Pinterest: apply for 1 month 1 time per week. hair rose about 10 cm! mask recipe is very simple and is based on the fact that mustard bake, warming the skin of the head and causing a rush of blood to the hair follicles: 2 tablespoons dry mustard powder (available from the Department of spices) with hot water to dissolve 2 tablespoons of hot water 1 egg yolk 2 tablespoons olive (peach, burdock, and any other cosmetic oil) 2 teaspoons of sugar (the more sugar, the meanerhttp://pinterest.com/pin/478789004104588852/

My hair reaches below my chest area, and how i got it there is i bought a cheap pair of haircutting shears from Walgreens, and every two to four weeks i cut the very ends off. Much much less than an inch. It gives your hair a tiny fresh start and it shoots to more growing. Its gradual, but fun and saves money. Your chances of some lady chewing bubble gum talking about things that you don't care about and chopping 5 inches off instead of one is lessened. Make sure you use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. And then switch those up every now and then. Oh and brush your hair out before you go to bed. It's good for your scalp and ends. If you don't know how to cut your own hair or are scared to, just know you should do it by thin sections. start from the bottom and work your way up. You can do it! :)

Apply 3 whisked eggs to scalp, massage in really good. Then,I use a deep conditioner of choice(TRESemme Mud Masque, etc.)and detangle and leave in hair for 10 minutes, then wash out and rinse really great with Icy Cold Water continously for shinyness and smoothness.
