This is completely not beauty related, but I know there's a lot of East Coast users & I just can't not say anything. I hope everybody is safe - This is some of the scariest, most intense events to happen in America. The entire nation has you in their prayers & hope to God that there's minimal damage. I just hope everybody ends up ok, safe & healthy. <3

thanks so much!!!!...I live in yonkers, NY and Praise God nothing happened. Just some rain and at the moment there's some pretty gusty winds. My family and I are safe and didn't experience any bad casualties but I can't speak for everyone in my city...unfortunately there's a lot of flooding but it's something that we are not used to ;) thanks so much for this post ;) xoxo

thanks Andrea~ I live in MD and yes the earthquake topped with a hurricane in one week is overwhelming! My family was fortunate but a tree fell on my neighbors house and a lot of areas do not have power. Really appreciate your concern :)

Thanks dear. NJ is a mixed case as well. I'm lucky my town is on a cliff/hill and the worst thing here is flooded basements and no cable. A couple of towns near here were evacuated due to flooding. We had no casualties so far, so that is always a plus.

I hope everyone is safe and okay also! I have lived in Louisiana my entire life and have lived through many devastating hurricanes such as Katrina, Andrew and Gustav...I don't envy yall but do hope and pray that you all are ok, safe, and alive :) xo Jessica

Thanks! Hope everyone is safe and not too much damage was done! I actually live on the NJ shore where Irene made landfall and there really was no damage at all besides a little flooding the morning after. I think we had worse storms. But a lot of people lost power and still don't have it. I guess we just got lucky!
