Hello Ladies and Gents :D I am in a makeup rut. I feel like I am having the hardest time getting motivated to do my make up all cute and colorful. I am in dyer need of some inspiration. I wanted to know who inspires you when your in a make up rut?

I love this site, just looking at all the beautiful colorful eyes, also try googling ppl you like or who inspire you and check out there makeup, might just inspire you to grab a brush, or just play around with colors when you have some free time see what you like and what looks best :)

Ok whenever I'm in a makeup rut...I take a walk....whether it be in the city or on a trail in the woods...the colors of nature and the abstract buildings of the city always bring out something in me....So take a walk and I'm sure your inspiration will find you.

so good to see im not the only one who feel unmotivated at times. What I do is watch music videos, flip thru Lowrider magazines because their cars are so beautiful..colors, and details..just like doing make up..or flip through this website.

Whenever I'm lacking inspiration, I plan an outing somewhere out of the norm worth dressing up for. I'll be excited enough to plan out exactly how I would like to do my makeup or what I'd wear, and that usually kicks my butt into keeping an extra eye out for new things to try. =)

I'm always inspired by people watching, too - luckily I'm in NYC where there's no such thing as evening-only makeup. lol. but I recommend even going to popular areas in your city! it's amazing what we can learn from each other :)

I really just try to think tropical! where I would love to be on vacation & the style inspires the sunshine in me :)
