I use the neutrogena makeup removers both in bottle form and wipes. I love them both. I wear contacts and it doesn't bother my eyes.

I love the Neutrogena wipes.. my favourite are the nighttime lavender ones. I have sensitive skin and wear contacts and they don't bother me at all.

yeah 2 thumbs up for Neutrogena eye makeup remover! I think it works just as good as one from Lancome. Also Neurogena's bar soap, unscented does wonders. I have sensitive skin and I use this as a last step after removing my make up with Chamzone foam cleanser. It just leaves your skin really soft and clean.

Sonia Kashuk's Remove eye makeup remover is a pretty close dupe to Lancome's Bifacil for a fraction of the price. =)

the only drugstore make up remover ive tried are: neutrogena, skinfood (korean brand), and recently a japanese brand called
Kanebo NAIVE cleansing lotion. they're all really decent. the kanebo naive has oils, and lotion (water based). i'd say kanebo naive or neutrogena. the skinfood i only tried the wipes and i didn't like them too much.

Thayer's Rosewater Witch Hazel has NO alcohol in it, so it's as gentle as can be... and yes, it can be used alone. =)
