Ive heard sooo much about the Inglot pallettes and how amazing and affordable they are. Ive been skeptical to buy some, but then I saw those new rainbow eyeshadows, and they really caught my eye. Im thinking about purchasing them but im not sure how to lol!! I went on the website and started picking colors and it came out to be around $80 for 10 shadows and a pallette? is that right or am I doing it wrong? I appreciate the help! Thanks!

The thing is, I think the shadows are affordable OUTSIDE of the U.S. I've heard nothing but bad things about the U.S price mark up, which is a shame because they seem to be fantastic.

i went to the NYC store and got just a single color for under 12 bucks, with tax and everything.

They only just did a price markup on the freedom palettes and pans, we're still cheaper here than in the UK where it was raised 50%

Yeah the website is a bit confusing, but the product is worth it (and honestly, considering how notoriously bad the customer service is in stores...) The price for your total seems right. Before the markup, a 10-pan palette with colors came out to $60 or so.

Basically, the more shadows you buy, the less they are per shadow and you get a discount on the palette. I'm quite sure your sum total was about right, but if you're really confused just call them up.

When I went to Las Vegas a couple months ago I saw the Inglot store and of course had to buy some because of all the hype...and I got two 10 pan pallettes for 50 dollars each. I have not bought them online though...

I actually studied abroad and walked past the Inglot store in Istanbul... back then I didn't have any interest in makeup whatsoever... now that I think about it, I'm kicking myself for it... =(

I really want the super large matte shadow palette that's been reviewed on Youtube as of late... but the website does not have it for sale. =(

Thanks for letting us know the markup isn't as high outside the U.S. though! I'm going to try to butter up some old friends over there and see if they can send me a care package...

Yeah even tho Ive heard so many good things, I still dont see myself spending $80 on a 10 pan pallette. thats just way too pricey for me....but thanks for letting me kno I wasnt crazy lol!

I think their website in general just sucks. It's not very clear what you need to do. This is what I did because i got a pro card in the NYC store and I live in CA. I called the Fashion Island Store (since the only way to get the pro discount is through an email/call exchange) and had all of the colors I wanted ready to go (I bought a 20 Palette). We emailed a couple of times back and forth and by the end of it, my shadows and palette got to me in about 2 days (which is pretty awesome). The thing with price is you pay less the more you get, especially in the freedom palettes. With those, you pay about $5 per shadow which is fantastic for the quality of them. Right now, I have two 50 palettes (the power of matte collections, both colorful and neutrals), a 20 palette, and a 5 palette. I don't regret ANY of the purchases because they are so easy to blend. If you compare to a mac shadow, I say the price is totally fine.

the price in the US is actually fantastic compared to some countries, i live in australia and a 10 palette is $95 so really the US have the best pricing when it comes to cosmetics, but you should definately invest in some inglot. it really is amazing for the price and quality i would recommend the gel liner in 77 its the blackest gel liner/any liner iv truly ever used!

Inglot changed their freedom system recently and without warning! So now your palette doesn't get discounted to $5 (you pay full price) and all eyeshadows are $5 regardless of how many you buy. The rainbow eyeshadows are $7.

Yeah Im sure its well worth the money, Its just not in my budget right now I guess. But Jasmine, how much are the 40 pallettes? I bet those are a much better deal. Ill probably save my money and buy one for myself for christmas :3

Raisa, I had no idea! That's so crazy but if the rainbow eyeshadows are $7, that's still pretty awesome.

Layla, the 40 palettes retail for $180 but it was cheaper at IMATS, which is why I purchased mine. It's currently on the site for the 40 palette for you to choose colors.

Jasmine I found out on their Facebook page. A lot of people were asking days before they said anything and figured it was a glitch.

"For all those ordering on our website and purchasing in our stores, we want to let you know that there's been a slight change. This isn't a glitch in the system. There is no longer any discounts with the Freedom System with the eyeshadows and there's a slight price difference. Everything is sold this way in the stores as well. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. But SMILE...you gotta love INGLOT ☺"

If you break it down to what you are getting compared to MAC or other brands it's really reasonably priced. I just hate how difficult it is to pick colors online =/

Raisa, wow that's kind of crazy that they announced it on their facebook page. It's good to know though, thank you for informing!

Courtney, I agree! If you can get yourself to a store to look at the colors in person, it's definitely better but that can be said about a lot of beauty products. Swatches on a screen never do justice to a product in person.

I Love the rainbow eyeshadows and for the quality and quantity of the product your getting is a deal compared to other brands.
