I will splurge on my MAC lipsticks and glosses. For me those do wonders for my lips and is a personal preference that I bare. If I buy a high price mascara its going to be the small ones in the Sephora sale bins ranging from $7-$10 (AMAZING) and eye shadows must be in palette form (hence Urban Decay palettes). I would absolutely not splurge on lashes. I don't really know how to apply them. =)

I admit, I will spend any amount on lip gloss, bronzer, and most importantly, MASCARA! The eyelashes are the best thing to glam up on your face!! SO why not spend a lil extra cash for some EXTRAAAAA lashes!? lol

I will spend $$$ on foundation and skincare...but I'll go cheap on mascaras...like really drugstore cheap!! I can't justify paying more than a few dollars for something that's just going to be thrown in the trash in 3 months anyway. What's the big deal? LOL

Depends on the product. I won't pay more than $12 for a skincare product and I won't pay more than $15 for Mascara (unless it is some amazing mascara and I can't find the effects elsewhere in a cheaper mascara).
I will splurge on Foundation and Nail Polish. I found that good foundation is critical like skincare. You want it to apply nicely and nourish your skin. I have found that cheap nail polishes often chip really easily. $8 (for OPI and Essie) is really not that bad for a nail polish...if you compare it to a $20 up for Chanel or Dior Nail Polish.

Two things - mascara and false eyelashes.
The mascara I'm using at the moment is Collection 2000 Big fake. It's around £5 and I love it! I used to use a mascara made by Primark (!) that cost £1 and it was the best mascara I've ever used. Unfortunately they discontinued it :(
I buy pretty much all of my false eyelashes on e-bay or from http://www.bf-beauty.com/ I have used more expensive lashes by MAC and Illamasqua, and I honestly prefer my cheap eyelashes.

I really only splurge on face products and sometimes eyeshadow. I don't like to spend a lot of money on mascara because I feel like drugstores have great mascaras!
I have great videos on drugstore and higher end makeup that I love! Check out my youtube :) http://www.youtube.com/tiny12dancerr

I have to agree: mascara. I just slather on a ton of the cheap stuff and it works well enough for me haha.
I also don't spend much for lip products, but I never really wear anything but my Burt's Bees chap stick anyway.
I WILL splurge on skincare products. I've been fighting with my complexion for years, and I'm a skincare junkie. My latest buy was from Ole Henrikson, which came very highly recommended and was really $$$, so I hope it works!

I'm a tightwad when it comes to makeup remover wipes and cotton pads. I feel stupid when I buy body lotion at full price. As others have said, mascara. Anything that I'm going to use up really fast or have to throw out after a set amount of time.
I have no problem spending big on fragrance, a great foundation and eye pencils.

I wont splurge on mascara! Drugstore is fine with me :D

I agree with a few people here. Mascara! My favourite is Maybelline Great Lash! I love it! It's inexpensive too! :)

Anything more than more than $25-$30 really. I've wanted a Benefit Boxed Blush, Tarte Smooth Operator Illuminating Serum (Highlighter), and everything Laura Mercier. But there is no way I'm spending more than $25 that is my limit. There is nothing really there to me to justify it.
The only exception that can really be made are boxed sets (ones that especially include full-sized items) and palettes (i.e. Urban Decay Book of Shadows & Naked Palette)

I will NOT allow myself to spend 20 dollars on a mascara. I've tried plenty of drugstore brands that are a lot better then some of the high end mascaras I've owned in the past.
Also lip stick. I do own a pretty good amount of MAC lip sticks but nothing compared to YSL or even Chanel. I choke at the fact that they are 30+.

Brand name bags, like coach, Burberry...whatever. I just will not allow myself do that when my target/hm/forever 21 bags work just fine for me. Also, I refuse to buy any makeup product over 35$ It's hard to get me over 25$, but 35$ really is my limit.

I can't splurge on nail polishes either or eyeliners, make-up brushes, bronzers, blushes, lip products and sometimes eyeshadows....I would splurge on foundation, items I can use over and over again like I want to get Urban Decay's eyeleash curler its $20 but I can keep for like....ever oh and mascaras although the highest I will pay is $20 also since I don't throw them out when I should so mine last for months

Mascara, eyeliner, makeup brushes. I have UDPP but I am basically just using it just to use it up. I can't justify buying multiple tubes (I've accompanied one of my friends on multiple trips to Sephora just to refill her UDPP) when I feel my lids don't really need anything to keep eyeshadow on.
I can find my favorite mascara for around $16 and there's no need for me to get a better brand because it works just like more expensive mascara. Same with the others... I have a big range of high end products and cheaper products and I feel it's a good balance/works well for me.

Definitely eye liner! I feel stupid paying too much for something that is basically almost just a crayon ;) And like so many others, mascara.

Most skincare products. I find that highend skincare products don't do much for me and even does terrible things to my extra sensitive skin. The best bet for me when I have acne is washing with water and then maybe putting a toothpaste over it.
Although I don't mind investing in a cleanser or mask periodically.

Lipgloss- I (for some unknown reason) decided to purchase a MAC lipglass- $19 for what? a goopy mess that I could have gotten for $2-$3 somewhere else lol...it all comes off during the day anyway! Also, lipstick- i'm not a lipstick wearer so something like NYX suits me fine when I want to.

For me I am a frequent buyer at MAC and Benefit so for me to splurge it would be at the Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, or YSL and thats just if I have extra money after bills groceries and gas.

I refuse to spend a ton of money on black eyeliner pencils. $4 max is my limit. And as far as mascara goes I've been super happy with Rimmel. Lip scrubs....I make my own.

I can't justify spending money on expensive liquid eyeliners. Working for a reputable cosmetic retail store were we get free gratis throughout the year, I see expensive and inexpensive liquid eyeliners all the time and my faves are generally found at CVS, Walgreens and or beauty supply stores. They typically are under $6.00 bucks.

Mascara. I don't think it's that worth it, since my lashes are great to start out with. Also I hate to spend money on eyeliner. I can get a good one (I seriously love hard candy and hot topic eyeliners! They're so much fun) for a good price. I also don't spend too much on lip gloss. You can buy really nice lipglosses for super cheap. I really love sally beauty lipgloss. You can get tiny tubes, so you get to try a bunch of colors and figure out what your favorites are! I really love dreamy. It's a nice deep blue purple. Not to mention that the formula is super creamy and in no way sticky at ALL. It's seriously the best lip gloss I've ever used. I also don't spend ANYTHING on waxing. lol I just tweeze my brows and use Nair. Which reminds me, I need to tweeze my brows...They've gotten so fluffy and misshappen...

I won't spend money on:
1. M•A•C products. I've only bought a few items over the years with my most recent purchase being the Jealous Wakes eyeshadow... which I haven't even used.
2. E.L.F. palettes. Sure more are $5, some $10 but it's too much of a miss for me and I have almost a dozen books that I just won't ever use.
3. ANY celebrity brand perfume. I had custom made perfume before and that was very expensive and it did last me a long time but celebrity brand perfume I'll stay away from. Most smell nasty to begin with. lol
3. Wet 'n' Wild makeup remover.... Stuff burns.
4. Sephora's glitter liners... I have four that I rarely use because it burns.
5. Butter, Dior, Chanel nail polish way out of my budget. I buy OPI and China Glaze ONLY because I get it at pro price. I can buy Essie and several other salon brands as well but in those cases I simply don't need another brand to start collecting, it's bad enough with OPI and China Glaze! LOL

I pretty much don't splurge on anything. I can't justify the expense.
