I pay attention to what they say, because occasionally there is a bit of constructive criticism hidden in their negativity. It also allows me to figure out if they're actually a hater, or just someone that disagrees. That said, I rarely address them back and I don't take their words personally (unless it's useful) either way. The positive feedback has always outweighed the negative.

Seriously, I think haters are just bored. If you have nothing better to do with your time than rag on me for doing something I love, then your criticism really has no bearing on me.

I dont have any personal experience with them but I do see hater comments on my beauty guru's youtube videos. And I laugh. Because they try and insult her for doing what she does/loves. Stuff like "what a dumb girl buying so much stuff" my recent lol one was one of the comments on a haul video talking about how America is worse off for girls like her buying so much useless stuff and some good old crazy sprinkled in there. It was just like "hater PLEASE".

I get bored with them. I don't even bother to respond or get involved in their BS because it's what it is...BS. They want a reaction from you. I'm not gonna lie, they do get to me (rarely), but why should I waste time in my life to care about what you think about me? Stress my skin out? Please...

I'm not going to lie...if someone says something mean to me it will definitely hurt my feelings for a little bit. I'm not a robot I do have emotions. But I definitely don't dwell on it, I quickly get over it and move on happily with my life :)

I agree, just brush them off. I've never had to deal with it, but some people really can't distinguish hate comments and constructive criticism. There IS a difference between, "i liked that look but you didn't blend it well, it looked sloppy imo" and "you're ugly no one likes you fatty" THAT is where you distinguish the 11 year old lifeless troll and the adult who is trying to give you some advice. :] hahaha.
