I'm a strict DevaCurl girl; the cleansing conditioner takes a little getting used to but my hair's never been in better shape.

I’ve been wanting to try DevaCurl so bad. It’s expensive. I’m currently using Cleansing Pudding from As I Am Naturally. I like it so far.

My all time favorite is L'Oreal - EverSleek Intense Smoothing Shampoo & Conditioner. Besides being sulfate free, it is also paraben free which is important for me. :p HG status.

^I just tried the L'Oreal EverSleek line... and I'm not a fan of their shampoo... it doesn't lather well until I try a 2-3 time w/ my thick hair.... =(
I think their conditioner is decent, but once I use up my tubes, I'm going to try something else...
I've tried Avalon Organics, but I didn't like the lavander scent I had... so I'm still going to keep an eye out. Anyone know of a good shampoo/conditioner that smells like honey/almond? *watches thread* =)

@Soma - my niece, who is Korean, said the same thing!! Lucky girls to have thick, gorgeous hair, but damn...a shampoo that works and doesn't destroy it isn't asking too much!

Thick hair is a pain... my hair dresser curses at me for getting cuts every 6 months and yells at me for having so much hair to cut and thin down. I've always wanted curly hair... but grass is greener complex runs strong for me w/ hair.

I hated my curly hair for so long that I forced it into submission with flat irons. And now, I'm happy to let it air dry and go wild. But on the occasions that I do flat iron it, my friends do a doubletake - they say I don't look like myself!! It did take me a long time to find products that actually worked to support the curl though.
I'll keep my eye out for ya on the shampoo front!

I find some shampoos claim to be sulfate free but still contain sulfates in them. I always read the ingedients now before i purchase because i had to return two shampoos that claim to be sulfate free. So right now i use burt bees until i can find the real deal.
