I have blisters right now too! :( I'm just letting it heal naturally. I try to walk in comfortable shoes and letting it break naturally. Don't drain it because the tender part of the blister would be expose and it would hurt even more!

I use something called blister tape. http://www.drugstore.com/band-aid-advanced-healing-blister-cushions/qxp79971?fromsrch=Advanced+Healing+Blister++Cushions+%2D+6+ea
Not only prtects them while they heal, prevents them too!

I use the blister band aids. I forget the name but they are padded, similar to what Colleen posted. They work wonders!
My coworker introduced me to moleskin though.. so when I do wear shoes that I have not quite broken in yet, it rubs way less so the blisters do not form.

NEVER pop a blister, popping them can cause infections and scars. Wear a band-aid on it so it doesn't hurt you while you wear your regular shoes. When It does pop naturally do not remove the skin but put some antibiotic ointment (polysporin) and put a band-aid on it again. Keep up with the band-aids until it heals. This is the way I heal mine and it is the way that causes the least pain in my opinion.
