In addition to primer, I've started using a white base for my brighter shadows (orange, yellow, pink, lime green, etc) as I find it gets better color payoff. I've been using Sephora's nano-eyeliner in white, but the damn thing's so hard to sharpen, and also its really small (hence, nano). I recently bought Sephora's Jumbo Waterproof Eyeliner in white, but it has a sheen that shows through and sometimes I want a matte look. Does anyone have any advice on a matte finish cream base?

Err I don't have it but I think it's matte. The NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow pencil in Milk :)

My daughter uses the white primer that comes in a pot by NYX. I use the white gel liner by Coastal Scents. Not a true matte, but no sheen comes through to my eyeshadow.

Cheap creamshadow alternative: Physician's Formula shimmer stack gel liners. I especially love the purple and green set.

I didn't know revlon made cream shadows... do they work well? Matte finish? Good coverage?

Yeah, revlon makes cream shadows, they are sold in a palette of 4. I have the not just nudes set and of the four only one of them is matte. It is a matte light brown. They work just the same as nyx jumbo pencils, they need a primer underneath them and they help your shadows "stick" and bump up the color a bit.

If I am not using NYX jumbo pencil in milk I am using MAC pant pot in Soft Ocher.

I love using the revlon creme shadows, but i can't remember if they are matte. I also use NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk. <3 The revlon creme eyeshadows are great on top of a primer and can probably even be worn without a powder eyeshadow on top. They have diffent quads so maybe you can find one you like :)

I personally use Ben Nye's MagiColor Cream Pencil in White. It's absolutely amazing as a base, doesn't crease and is very smooth to blend out. You can order it online, but I luckily have a theater supply store in my area that I go to.

I like Milk, but it can crease, so I would love to try this Ben Nye one! I use soft ochre for neutral looks, too. The lady in MAC suggested this one for me over Painterly, but I may still get Painterly sometime.
Anyone like the MUFE one?
