I'm at the University of Oregon, and I'm a double major in Journalism and Spanish. As a junior, I had no idea that I would be doing this, so definitely don't worry. I still know people who are going into their junior years of college having just decided what they want to do. So don't worry about it! It get's confusing and stressful, but we've all been through it, and we can all help if you need it :)
Good luck!!

I'm in the UK at a place called Birmingham City University study media and communication :) I did at one stage want to do law but that went out the window after doing some media classes at school.

i finished up college already but i went to a community college close to home and majored in graphic arts & design. i knew since sophmore year in high school i wanted to do art and then fell into it more jr year! but if you're unsure what you want to do- jump into the college you're going to and start your base classes.. and then if you have a little extra time, see if you can pick up a class or two you're interested in at a community college. you could probably do that the summer before college too :)

It is super fun to read what schools everyone is going to !! I already went to college, actually to culinary school to study to be a pastry chef. When I went there it was Western Culinary Institute but I think now it is called Le Cordon Bleu School of Portland or something like that...

don't worry about picking a major at all!!
i started off as a photography major my freshman year, then became an advertising major, then studied abroad in london for a year as a media studies major, then finally graduated with a degree in public relations and communications because thats what i was closest to finishing.
now i'm in law school lol. you don't have to have your mind made up early, sometimes you fall into what you're meant to do

I completely agree with Holly. I started as a engineering major and have changed my major several times. Changing your major (at least at Georgia Southern) is as easy as filling out a little form. With that being said, you should have a general idea of what you want to do unless you are okay with spending more than 4 years in college. ie don't start Engineering and go to English and expect to graduate at the same time without killing yourself. Make sure it is what you love though. Part of college is figuring out what you love so you enjoy your career later on.

Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona :] I would reccomend going to a 2 year community college if finances are an issue for you. Going to community college for two years saved me about $80,000!!! Plus you can really learn alot about yourself and what you want to major in/ do with your life without wasting a bunch of time thinking about it since you will still be completing alot of courses that you would at a 4 year instituition. Good luck with school!!
