I just usually do it myself at home. I feel more accomplished knowing that i did them myself and plus save myself a ton of $$$ :D

I do it myself at home too... I just don't have time to go sit at a nail salon. UNLESS, I want to get acrylics.. then I go to the salon and breathe in all the lovely fumes.. (x_x)

u know ive only had acrylics done ONCE my whole life and that was for my middle school dance lol. I dont do good with acrylics since i play the guitar a lot. if i didnt i would so get acrylics lol

I only go to the salon for pedis because I get my foot massaged, but now that foot massage places are opening up all around for $20/hr., I'd rather spend my $ on that... Especially since they do your body too for the full hour!
Mani/pedis are now done at home so I can maximize treating myself from time to time. =]

I do mine myself of course. I have probably somewhere close to 400 nail polishes, so it's the only way I can use them up!! : )

I used to do my own acrylic nails but with three kids I just can spend the time doing it. It takes me two days just to complete a traditional manicure. And my hubby likes my natural nails.

It's nice having a professional manicure because of the massage and the pampering however I tend to do my own nails. I try and go in at least twice a year though for a pro manicure just because I want the pampering.

I do it myself at home, i do want to go and get gel polish so that I can enjoy the manicure a little longer. I use to do my nails at the salon all the time but I really do not enjoy the waiting anymore or the drive. :) Plus I have learned so many new things and it has saved me money

I do my nails myself, but I do get a pedi every few months. You just can't give yourself a good pedicure, not as good as someone else.

I do it myself. I have a thing about people I don't know touching my hands and feet. Plus I don't have the time and it saves some money. I see going to a salon as more of a chore than a relaxing experience.
