High End Cosmetics

I am a low-end cosmetic kinda girl.

Recently I've been dying to try brands like Smashbox, Urban Decay (I've only had UDPP) Sugarpill, MAC...

Know of any places to get these brands (Specifically UD and MAC) at a discount?

Please let me know! Or a swap, or something, even though I have nothing great to swap! haha

are you wanting to get them online? or at a retail store?

Either or... I mostly search online because most of the stores that are close to me aren't close at all haha. Except for the walmarts and DG's.

allcosmeticswholesale.com is an amazing site! i def recommend it...i just placed my first order and it was at my house in two days!! and all the products were exactly what they said they were on the site

another site to find discount items would be hautelook.com i heard their shipping is long but they have great deals on stuff everyday you can signup to get emails that tell u which brands are being featured everyday

also check out camerareadycosmetics.com not as big variety but still good stuff

have you tried mark.? it is professional quality makeup and has been ranked in magazines and such among MAC, dior, smashbox, urban decay, etc... but it is litterally a fraction of the cost! the quality is amazing, I am a mark. rep and i absolutely love all of our products, i would love to send you some samples! let me know if your interested! (commetn back or feel free to email me victoria.markrep@yahoo.com or check out my website www.mymarkstore.com/victoriaflores

I personally never liked Mark cosmetics and found it to be too much of a mix bag - some good, some bad. It's the same with all rep cosmetics like Avon, Mary Kay and Artistry. Remember, the primary thing for a rep to do is sell, sell, sell so anytime a rep sings the praises of a certain company (and not a specific product) be VERY wary. (And it's nothing against Victoria F. just personal experience that when it comes to those who are selling stuff that their opinion is bias.)

That said my high end products are Urban Decay and LORAC and the vast majority of my collection came from sells either through Hautelook (BEFORE Nordstrom bought out Hautelook and ruined the sales) or through both companies clearance pages. The only UD product I paid full price for was NAKED.

I love Sugarpill but it wouldn't be classified as high end - it's independent as is Fyrinnae. You have to be careful with indie brands since some (and I can list a whole bunch) have no morals or ethics and sell products they shouldn't either due to mislabeling or contamination. Sugarpill and Fyrinnae are the only two I fully trust and recommend.

Now with M•A•C products you need to be aware that most discount sites you find online are most likely selling counterfeit products. I would never EVER recommend buying off any site BUT M•A•C or Macy's (which is the only place I know of that is authorized to sell M•A•C). You could apply for a PRO card to get up to 40% off but you will need to have proof you're a professional MUA.

Check out beflurt.com! Or go with the MAC Pro card, haha.

Urban Decay also has sales on their website. Check often!

no offense taken, i was also skeptical about buying from mark. at first seeing as it was online and there wasnt much of a way to try out products beforehand. but i honestly fell in love and became a rep myself, and i love sharing the brand with people. i have samples for anybody who would like a try out a product and mark. has a 100% satisfaction guarentee so if you dont like something you always get your money back.

Now that's a good cosmetic company, not like MicaBella. lol REALLY bad experience with them.

I don't do Glameyez. I know it's completely a different subject but, horrible experience with the owner. not just me, a friend as well. Thanks all.

Sugarpill - for what they are, I find them not too expensive at all =]
I think you're better off going for quality instead of just 'high end' ... That doesn't always mean quality.
For example - ELF have a lot of really good quality products but are dirt cheap (but careful, look around the reviews first, some of their stuff is a bit average.)
And MAC I find to be mostly low quality.
So before you buy anything, research the particular brand/product you want to buy first and see if it's going to be worth it - even at full price.

Ulta and Sephora will have what you need! they have tons of brands in their stores! You can go to the store or go on their websites (:

Yeah I have almost all of ELF's stuff. I don't want MAC really, from what I've heard. I just need better quality.

I've been drifting from MAC lately, I've been really into Smashbox and Urban Decay- I love them both! Dior also has great products!

Inglot is also a good brand which is cheaper than MAC.
