Okay, Ladies:

So My hair has been short for about 7 years now and I'm thinking it's time for a change, so I'm letting it grow out again. However, I still want to keep it "short". I'm thinking that I don't want it to far past my jaw line. Anyway, here's kind of what I had: http://pinterest.com/pin/1101975221... (the cut, not color)

Here's where I want to be: http://pinterest.com/pin/1101975221... or http://pinterest.com/pin/1101975221...

What do you think? Also, any suggestions for what to do with it while it's in between styles?

Thanks! =D

None of the photos are working for me. :(

Aww. Stupid Pinterest. I can't upload photos when starting a topic, only commenting on one? lol Okay.

Here's want I had (left) vs. what I want(right). Sorry about that!!

I love the second picture. Wish we could see the back.

I love your goal photo! Your hair is naturally curly? It's probably the easiest way to get as much body/fullness as the girl in the photo.

I'm in the same boat right now, growing it out. I love short hair, I have had short hair most of my life, but every few years I'll grow it out either to my shoulders or longer. My hair is a huge part of my style and growing it out is when it represents me the least. :D

My best advice to you is to get texturized/reshaped whenever you can't handle your hair. Bring your inspiration photo when you go to your stylist so that they know what your goal is as well. You want them to reshape your hair with your goal in mind.

Thanks, Heather!

Yeah, my hair is kind of naturally like the second pic: it's really wavy and has LOTS of volume.

I have short hair...this is what I have and this is what I want. I just read in another discussion on here that we should try head and shoulders. IT will help the hair grow. Not sure how true that is but it doesnt hurt to try. I also think that your goal should break up in steps. It makes it easier to feel like you are getting somewhere.

So the attached photo is my first goal. :)

I love the first one!!! It's so edgy!!!

@Myrna

Yes. I agree. I'm trying to find ways to style it each time it grows about 1/2 an inch. I started growing it out in Oct. and now it's long enough to slick back like this (right, not quite as long though) and I like that style too, the problem is getting it to STAY that way lol

Just regular head and shoulders? Or is there a special kind that helps it grow faster?
