I've been wearing a lot of eye makeup lately, and I'm struggling to find a good eye makeup remover.
I want something gentle as it won't be a replacement for my Purity/Clarisonic routine, but I want to remove the eye makeup before I wash as it can be really heavy and stay on through the wash, and I don't want to pull at the delicate skin around my eyes too much with the Clarisonic.
I'd prefer a cream and have heard mixed reviews about the UD Meltdown Makeup remover, but I'd love some other recommendations. Thanks!!

I use Signature Club A makeup melts to remove all my makeup and then I wash my face with Philosophy's Purity.

I use vaseline to remove my eye makeup because my eyes are really senstive and all the eye makeup removers I have tried have been too harsh for my eye area. I just take a little bit and rub it in and remove with a baby wipe or some tissue.

I've been using one by Avon (its a cream formula) and I just picked one up by Neutrogena today in liquid.

Jojoba oil is a good cheap/natural alternative... Coconut oil too.
I also use MUFE's sense eyes (love this to pieces!)... Which is a lotion consistency, or Sonia kashuk's remove, which a good drugstore dupe for lancome's bifacil.

I love MUFE's sense eyes -- it was the only makeup remover that didn't leave that "filmy" thing around my eyes. O_o?? Or is it just me that gets it with some eye removers.
Anyway, that bottle lasts long, but I am not in a financial state to buy another one so my choice now is vaseline!! It doesn't leave a "film" when I open my eyes, and it's cheap. All I do is rub some vaseline on my eye makeup (even ones that i've had on for 12hrs and it has stayed put -- thank you UDPP!) make sure I feel it being "disolved", and wipe it off with toilet paper. Then continue with your face wash routine!

I'm in luv with the Oil-free eye makeup remover by neautrogena, the only thing about this product is that have a funny feeling on the skin, not bad just kinda slimy.

I use hard-pressed coconut oil to take my stubborn eye makeup off. Melt a teaspoon's worth in your palm and smooth it over your eyes. Rub gently with a tissue and watch as all of it comes off like a miracle. It won't irritate your eyes and it moisturizes while you remove product- I love it.

Huggies baby wipes are easy on the eyes and work really well. They work as well as most wipes made specifically for make up removal.

If you wear contacts you want to use oil free. I like the Avon eye make-up remover but it leaves a film on my contacts.

Avon has a nice cream eye makeup remover. The Urban Decay one is just okay in my opinion. I prefer to use a liquid makeup remover though.

Thanks for all the recs, guys!! I really appreciate it. I went in to the store I work at yesterday and talked to one of the consultants (I work Seasonal at Sephora), and she actually recommended a makeup remover by Korres. This one: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P61801&categoryId=B70
I bought it and tried it last night and I love it!! It feels really nice on the skin and it wipes away cleanly. I didn't even have to do my regular Clarisonic/Purity routine, which was good 'cause I was exhausted. Anyway, just wanted to keep this thread updated. :) Thanks for all your inputs. :)

For my eye makeup, I usually just use some pure olive oil with a cotton pad! This is amazing, especially, if you have dry lids in the winter time, like I do. The natural olive oil is also a lot less harsh on your skin than most products, and it's amazingly cost effective.

mary kay makeup remover is safe, silky, and inexpensive. It gets off everything you want without leaving the oily residue like baby oil. You also don't need to rub much to get it all to come off. It's great.

Lacome Bi-Facial Eye Makeup Remover! This is by far the best eye makeup remover. It takes off the most stubborn makeup and doesn't irritate the eyes at all!

i have a solid routine thats been working for me for years..
1) put Neutrogena's eye makeup remover on a q-tip and gently rub that around the water line until eyeliner comes off. (it's oil based, so even the toughest eyeliner comes off)
2) after you got most off, take the Loreal makeup remover and use that to get rid of any eyeshadows/eyeliner on lid
3) take the Loreal makeup remover and put that on a q-tip and remove any eyeliner residue
it seems like a process, but its completely effective, and has been working for me for years!
