a little known secret i never took into consideration, was less is more{in terms of makeup} For all you Christians out there you'll understand this... god didnt bless you with the beautiful face for you to cover it with tacky make up.. Im a ferm believer in covering imperfections {zits, scars, ect) but it doesn't give you the right to use a whole stick of eye liner, or a bottle of cover up... no!! get to know your face, i remember in 7th grade i had the worst acne, it turns out the amount of make up i was using to 'attempt' to cover it up created an issue with insecurity. God bless my mom for not letting me wear make up until i was 13.
What are some struggles that are true eye openers in terms of beauty and what you think of your self in the past, and now?

I have a gap in my grill and for the longest I used to have such a complex about it but it wasn't till I went overseas and was told by men and women that I need to smile more because I have such a beautiful smile. And then in my early 20's I had a boyfriend who constantly praised my gap and told me that in his country its embraced and accepted so I need to just stop talking about getting braces and embrace what looks so natural on me. Now that I'm 37, going on 38 in Feb., I love what I've been blessed with.....I think what is seen by an imperfection by the dental community has to be the most beautiful aspect of my face.

^Shelley W. - that gap, if between your two front teeth, is called, "Aphrodite's Kiss". It means you are so beautiful, the goddess had to kiss you, and the power of her kiss caused this. =)
