My eyebrows are very thick and BLACK! Not dark, but really black. The hair on my head isn't even black! And also, by "thick" I'm talking about the individual hairs. Just think of a black porcupine and those are my brows. I'm constantly getting asked if I draw them on, and where I'm from, that means Sharpie -_- I have yet to find something helpful through Google, so I'm asking all of you for help :) I'm desperate for it...

I took a look at your pictures, maybe you can try dying them a lighter brown color they dont need any added shadow but if you cant resist you a shadow or eye pencil that is a shade lighter than your natural brow to define then and I would also suggest using an eyebrow brush and groom them everyday so they wont be so wild, I personally love your thick eyebrows since mine are sooo thin!! Hey we can trade anytime girl! Good luck!

I've heard of people who have bleached them as light as possible, they dyed them brown afterwards. I'm not sure if that would work but I think I might try it. Don't get me wrong I like that they're thick, but the hairs themselves are too thick. I've actually edited my eyebrows in my pictures because ugh they're just so odd looking naturally! The hairs individually are thick but there's lot's of space in between them :/

I would suggest dying them lighter if thats wat u really want but i agree with marian I love your brows. I would also suggest using a really good brow gel to help lay them down. a tinted one like the ones from anastaisa line would be great at filling in the spaces you say u have between hairs

I went through your pics as well - and saw the ones in which you did draw them in...

...instead of using a brown colored product to fill them in, try using something ashier?

I used to have really thick brows growing up as well, but I just took my tweezers and lightly tweezed the dark thick areas so that they thinned down a bit. I've yet to hear of anyone dying them a lighter color though... also, trimming them shorter will help tone down the darkness as well. Hope that helps!

Sally Hansen has these 'razors' that are a super small blade on one side of a thin handle and a mini comb on the other (the ones I have are orange and blue). I use these with brow stencils to help thin mine out. Just lightly graze your eyebrows in the direction of hair growth. You can find them at target or even a grocery store.

Anastasia (sp) at Sephora has great brow kits too. Clear mascara or a tinted brow gel can help keep them in place.

I had an accident as a young child that cause a scar on my left eyebrow. The hair doesn't grow in that spot so I've spent what feels like my whole life trying to find brow fixes.
