I second Joico's Reconstruct line. I also really like Frederick Fekkai's technician's mask. Between those types of products I do a mask with hard pressed coconut oil. I'm basically deep conditioning my hair every time I wash it.

Keratin mist (CHI has a good one) is also a stregnthener. If you're doing a lot of styling with heat products you might want to give your hair a break for a while. I stopped putting my hair up in buns and ponytails too- noticed I was getting some breakage where the bands where : /

I also have tried the Joico as a sample, and it worked pretty well. However, I have been a huge fan of Redken products, especially their Extreme shampoo. It has really helped strengthen my damaged ends, and I follow up with their All Soft conditioner. About 2-3 times weekly I use their Smooth Down Butter Treat as a deep treatment, and it is amazing! My hair is so soft, smooth, and definitely less damaged. I have tried tons of drugstore brand products to deal with my dry ends and normal scalp, but I always ended up with an oil slick. This is the first brand that has not weighed my hair down, so maybe it will work for you as well.

And I agree with Angela about the styling. You have to use a heat protector (I use CHI and Redken's Extreme Anti-Snap) if you style a lot. I blow dry my hair every other day, and the heat protectors really do work!
