Blogspot is an actual blogging site and Tumblr is more of a site where you post pictures, and mostly re blog things you like.

And in my opinion, it's easier to get followers with Tumblr because of the tagging system. It took a short amount of time to reach 30 followers on my blog because of tagging whereas it took months to get just 30 on my Blogspot. Which I don't use anymore since I'm on Tumblr, hah.

Tumblr can still be counted as an actual blogging site if you do use it for blogging. It just really depends on how you use it.

Tumblr is for short blurbs that feature photos and video content. I find blogger to be more informational VS tumblr being eye candy. It's up to you how you use it though. Have fun with it!

I use both. XD I post links to my blogspot on my tumblr and other random things.
