I like CeraVe better, because it has ceramides and niacinamides that makes my skin glow. Cetaphil has the same consistency, but CeraVe gave me nice results and has fantastic moisturizers. Both are quite affordable and easily found at drugstores, so try both for yourself! =]

I've never used CeraVe but Cetaphil saves me everytime my skin is starting to get dry if you get the moisturizing lotion for all skin types omg it's amazing. after i wash my face i always feel like after patting my face dry my skin feels tight, so i put cetaphil on it and it feels amazing! I definitely recommend cetaphil, but I have got to try out CeraVe!

My skin has felt so dry that when I apply makeup even after I just applied lotion the dryness comes through and you can see it on my face :/ and I was using cerave since I knew it was somewhat like cetaphil and the dryness is still there and I feel like it didn't do much for my skin because right after I pat my face dry, you can tell its extremely dry. I have like white flakes and stuff. :/

Rina you might need to use a night cream to help with the dryness since it's night creams are an emollients it tend to help the skin retain it's moisture.

I use cetaphil day and night :) I love how gentle it is on my skin and also use it with my clarisonic mia. I use the cetaphil moisturizer but it makes me look too greasy :-/ I prefer my aveeno moisturizer but don't have the money to buy one without spf for nighttime. :-/

I used to use Cetaphil until I stopped using products with parabens. If that's not a concern for you, then I would definitely try using it. It was very gentle on my skin, and kept my moisture level nicely even.
Now I use Clinique's facial cleansing bar (no parabens), and I've found it to be just as good.
