Cant Get A Brush Through Your Hair? Snapping Off?

ok so i went through a faze where i wanted to be the lightest, brightest blonde ever. in the process of years of doing this i pretty much killed everyinch of my hair!
id wash it put conditioner and a treatment on then a leave in treatment then hair oil to soften it, hour later a could not even run my fingers through my hair at all! everytime i brushed it all it done was snap of so badly the end of my hair where so thin, could literally count them!
so i went to my local supermarket "tesco" and previously seen a ad on youtube from the company dove first thing came to mind soap. i know right, silly. but i pretty much looked into this quite abit after spending sosomuch money on salon products. i bought 4 of there products..
the repair shampoo and conditioner, the repair reconstuctor quick treatment conditoner and the repair reconstructor hair mask..
adding on to this i did have to take that horrible step of dying my hair darker. it got alot less tatty and broken. i thoguht do it now then i can get my perfect blonde for summer and do it without bleach! just highlift tint.
ive noticed such a difference in my hair, i have got much of it and it likes to grow slow but being able to run your fingers through your hair after so long and no breakage is a god send!
