I can't seem to find a good way of getting rid of my acne. It's hard because my skin is also sensitive, so using the acne skincare is hard to do. The method I have been doing so far has made quite a difference in my skin, but didn't get me exactly there. I'm also scared that my skin will get use to this method and get bad again. Any products or methods that can help?

Thanks in advance. <3

Well, I haven't researched the products I'm using, but I did look up what kind of things to use. I am actually using some organic soap and also my skin is a bit dry so I use Vasalline to moisturize. So far it works, but that's all I use. As far as why I get acne, I have no clue. I guess that's once problem, not knowing why I get it.

Your skin is EXACTLY like mine. I spent years dealing with irritation from products, and jumped from brand to brand. What worked for me was a change in diet, and hormone regulation (a.k.a birth control pills). In terms of skincare, I was using the Clinique 3-Step in #3 for oily-combination skin - I found it to be (relatively) gentle when my acne was at its worst. But after my skin started to change, I now use some select products from The Body Shop, mainly the tea tree and vitamin E range which have worked wonders for my skin.

Thanks. I think I'll try that. From what I hear the more natural stuff is better for sensitive skin.

Go have a look at http://www.youtube.com/user/missglamorazzi?feature=g-u-u...she gives good tips :)

reversion skin care has worked wonders for me! i have super acne prone skin and not even natural remedies helped me out...but ive been using reversion for about 6 weeks and amazing results! i bought mine off amazon, ten bucks cheaper then off the website. (: it takes up to 4-6 weeks for it to show results so be patient if you do get it. it flushes your skin of impurities then starts you off with clear bright skin i havent been this happy about my skin in a looooong time.

I wrote a blog post on how to improve/clear Acne not long ago, it's to long to post in a comment though so I will link it below. Hope it helps :)

I used to struggle with acne up until my sophomore year of college, however now my skin is pretty clear, except for a few breakouts right before I get my period. In the end what worked for me was being put on birth control. I know it doesn't really work for everybody, but it could be something you could discuss with your doctor as an option if your problem is hormonal. A low dose one might work, and could also prevent any other nasty side effects such as weight gain and nausea. This is what worked for me.
A product line I really do like for my sensitive skin though is from Burt's Bees, because their stuff is not too drying, and they have a broad line of products you can use since your skin will something different at different times of the year or even month. These haven't broken me out like most other acne treatments.

I'd recommend a really good acne cleanser, toner, exfoliator and in particular a concentrated spot cream. It's from Vichy its the normaderm range! It's probably between $10-$30 completely worth checking out! Great for sensitive skin and it lasts, better than going on medication that will make your skin so dehydrated! Try it out :)

I've recently broke out not too long ago and I have tried many products trying to find something that works and I finally found it! I'm using 2 brands: Avene and Bioderma. Both made for sensitive skin. I use the Bioderma Sebium exfoliating gel & the Avene Cleanacne Soap free gel cleanser (alternating products every other day), for a toner I use Bioderma sebum H2O which is a cleansing water that is non-foaming and non-rinse. I love this product because it is alcohol free and formulated for combination to oily skin so it really does help further cleanse the skin. then I use Avene TriAcneal that you can use as a spot treatment or put all over an area with breakouts. For ex. I have breakouts on my forehead so i put it all over my forehead and then use it as a spot treatment everywhere else. Then as a final step I use Avene Clean AC moisturizer which helps not only to moisturize but is also soothing and helps clear up acne. Out of all these products I would defiantly recommend the Bioderma exfoliating gel and the Avene TriAcneal treatment. They have worked wonders for me and I love my skin now! Wish you all the best!

I'm 29 and STILL am dealing with acne. (I was on accutane in highschool). The only thing that really helps me is birth control. I just had a baby in Aug and I couldn't WAIT to get back on it because my skin was making me crazy with breaking out.
Other tips I got from dermatologists is in the morning use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphyl or Spectro gel since your face sin't really "dirty" you just need to get the oilies off. It can be frusterating, I know. I also really like the Clinique acne line. I know I used the acne moisturizer FOREVER, I reallt liked it. Kept my face pretty matte and I think it helped with the breakouts. THeir spot treatment gel is good to. :)

The best products I used were the Clinique Anti Blemish 3 Step Solution stuff, I've had to get it a few times and it is quite expensive but it's really worth it. Another thing is if you ask your doctor for durac and anti-biotics is good!
