I was one of the people that it broke out :/ It wasn't too bad, but I didn't want to deal with the pimples. Definitely watch your dosage and try the pills out for a month or two (or until you finish the bottle you bought haha). After then, I would say it would be ok to go up in dosage

They have worked great for me ! They take about a month to kick in and you must take them everyday. My nails are longer than they've ever been and everyone has noticed how long my hair is getting!

@Jennie-I take 2,000 mg/day *when I remember*. But even though I don't take it every day, I've noticed a HUGE difference in my nails-they were SO weak, brittle, peeling & now they're past my fingertips!

I took them for awhile and noticed a little bit of results but after taking them for about a month I started getting these strange chest pains. Biotin was the only supplement I was taking so I stopped taking it and they went away not sure why it happened and I think it's probably pretty rare to have that reaction to it after a while since so many people take it but just a heads up.

I've taken it for years, I recommend it to all my clients who want to grow out their hair or make it stronger, & it's never made my ridiculously sensitive skin break out. It's good stuff!

I JUST started taking biotin today to see if it can help my hair grow faster. I haven't read any reviews of people complaining of breaking out though.

I am currently taking them and no they did not make me break out. However, everybody is different so it COULD cause you to breakout. I did switch up my skincare routine in November and that could also be why my skin has been pimple free ( thank god!) lol
