Alright girls and guys! I'm in a bit of a pickle and I know I can rely on the community to help!
I have a gala dinner to attend but me being, well, me, I can't not be crazy!
My dress is a tealy, green color and I'm pairing it with black heels with studs, a black denim jacket with studs on the lapels, but I'm not sure if I can pull off this graphic eyeliner look (see below)

So I'm thinking, full foundation routine, light handed rosy blush and a nude lip? Or should it be a pinky toned lip? Or does this just look stupid?

You should go with a classic look. Perhaps a winged tip, black liner since you love dramatic, light rosey cheeks, and a pink toned lip. If this is a night thing you can always deepen your lip color with a red wine tone color or a engine red lip color...good luck :)

I think if you used a little less eyeliner on the bottom it would look just as dramatic and yet still wearable for your event. A rosy blush and I agree with Anna about a deeper lip color. I hope you feel beautiful! Your outfit sounds really cute

I think the bottom liner needs toning down a little, winged liner is good though. If you're going for a teal eyeshadow you could use maybe a coloured eyeliner? I think it adds more drama than an eyeshadow :) just have a little play around and see what you like. Good luck x

I wouldn't attempt to match my eye makeup to the dress for something like a gala.
It sounds like your outfit will be channeling your personality, so I would choose something a bit more classic like the neutral eye with winged liner, or a soft, subtle smokey eye. If you still want a bit more 'crazy', I'd opt for a brighter lip colour. It's significantly easier to pull off than graphic liner.
