I think I'm going to try and not use any heat and not put on any make-up for awhile. I want to start working out, and pay more attention to my body. And I feel like my make-up clogs me up more, and Idk, lately it just feels heavy. And I have severly damaged hair.. Well I've gotten highlights over the years, dyed it differnet colors for almost 2 years, and then bleached it and dyed it blonde. Christmas I finally dyed it brown black, which is close to my natural color. Before I dyed it my stylest said no heat. So I didn't. It grew almost 2 inches.!! So I'm thinking until I get my body underway and in shape and my hair back to growing healthy, no more heat or make-up. Unless I have a horrible breakout. But I wash my face in the shower at night, and sometimes I forget too, and then I break out because of my foundation and all the gunk. Sooo yeah, we shall see where this brings us. I'm rounding about 3-6 months without it. A VERY BIG CHANGE FOR ME! BUT I'm willing to take the challenge. Rather, miminal make-up and heat. Like heat for special occations, and very light make-up if any :) Also any advise for blackheads?

Good luck! I only do heat for special occassion stuff and my daily make up is eyeliner and eyeshadow. I feel too stuffy in foundation and save it for special occassions as well.

I have been feeling the same way lately and then that way our products will last longer.

Good luck! You are a braver girl than I. I have cut back on the styling and makeup since moving to Thailand, just because of the sweating. Switched to tinted moisturizer from my usual full-coverage foundation (realized, I don't really need all that coverage anyway!), don't use eyeshadow during the day, only a little eyeliner and mascara, maybe shadow at night. I will straighten my hair when we go out, but that's more because my hair is a crazy mess if I don't. But I certainly feel better with my new routine, just because it's less obvious I need makeup to look good.

This is a fantastic idea. Lately I have been letting my hair dry naturally to avoid heat. Now I want to buy a tinted SPF moisturizer so I'm not wearing a full coverage makeup. I want my focus to be more on my eating habits & exercise. I want to start roller skating for fun & fitness :p
for blackheads maybe steam your face & add in a few drops of Tea Tree? A clay mask? This always worked for me
