Estee Lauder. They own some great brands as well as being a great brand.

Being a woman of color I personally find Estee Lauder to be a better fit for me because I always have only "hits" when I purchase anything from them. As much as I love Chanel the eye colors aren't highly pigmented and often will not show up on my skin. Same goes for Dior and Lancome.

Estee Lauder also has a HUGE range of products, from skincare to fragrance to makeup. There really is something for everyone.

Wow... That's a hard one since they're practically the same to me! Dior or Chanel are a tie for first, Estée Lauder second, Lancôme last. Hate to say it, but Lancôme reminds me of older women. My aunts and mom go crazy for it... And it was the first makeup brand I was introduced to by my mom at the age of 15.

Chanel most definitely. I just love the packaging and their eye quads are beautiful. Also reminds me of old Hollywood glamour, which I love! I wouldn't wear Lancome due to them being owned by L'Oreal and I am really not keen on the packaging or their juicy tubes. I find them a little bit cheap looking :S

Lancome tests on animals, so they aren't even in there for me. I have to say Dior is the best though.

The only brand of the four I've ever had any experience with is Estee Lauder... way back in the mid-to-late 1990s. Chanel is a luxury brand I'd like to try, and possibly Dior as well. For whatever reason, Lancome has never been a brand I've wanted much to do with.

I've only tried Lancome and Estee lauder, so out of those two I would pick Estee Lauder. I honestly think Wet n' Wild eyeshadows are very similar in consistency, pigmentation, and blendability to Lancome's, so I will probably never buy a Lancome shadow again unless they come out with some crazy amazing color that I can't find elsewhere.

Chanel for quality, but Dior overall - Chanel's packaging is kind of cheap looking but Dior feels like total luxury.

Dior, they have the best (as in the kindest) animal testing policy.

Dior & Chanel are so pretty... A bit out of my price range usually, but oh my did I feel special when I whipped a Dior gloss outta my purse in high school.
