I have natural light brown hair that would turn blonde with the smallest exposure to sun. Years and several hair dyes later, i have a reddish brown wth blond highlights. I really want to go full on blonde, but am a little afraid to take the plunge. Any and all advice will be extremely helpful!!
(note: when I say i wanna go blonde, i DO NOT mean platinum, but like a nice sunny, golden blonde)

At Paul Mitchell we would call that a Platinum card. The lighter your hair is naturally the easier the lightening will be on your hair and less damaging. I would advise that you only do this if you are looking to go no more than 3 shades lighter to have the outcome you want quickly as apposed to having black hair and going blonde it is much more damaging. Just make sure that you have a trusted stylist do this for you and that you take the suggested shampoo and conditioner seriously for the life of your hair.
Have fun!

Definitely leave the bleach to the pros. I've seen too many friends w/orange or highlighter yellow hair after bleaching it themselves.

if your hairs in good condition than it should be fine, but i would reccomend going to a hairdressers just to see if your hair is in good enough condition and if they say yes than u can either go straight blonde then and there or u can gradually go blonde with foils whch i would say is probly better for your hair ccause it gives it a break and time to repair itself a little bit. :D
