It's a classic problem and I have no idea what to do about it.
I have incredibly resistant blackheads all over my nose and on my chin.
I have tried a handful of products but it doesn't seem like anything is actually getting down INTO the pore.
I have resorted to steaming my face and then gently applying pressure with tissue-covered fingers to squeeze them out but it is very tedious.
Any product suggestions or homemade tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you :)

Those pesky little blackheads are HORRIBLE. That is a problem for me too and nothing I used worked on them little buggers. Over the weekend I had a chemical peel done (first one ever) and the esthetician (after the "peel") just used her fingers to extract them. She said using the salicylic and glycolic acids actually loosen the blackheads and made extracting them easier. It was NOT comfortable because the pressure she used around my nose hurt a little. But I'm totally free of those blackheads and am using 2% salicylic acid after cleansing to keep them clear. I've made up my mind that if I am going to make periodic appointments for chemical peels to help keep my skin clear of those stubborn blackheads. :-)

I suggest using biore pore strips :) those have helped me alot. i suggest washing the areas that have blackheads with baking soda first so they can loosen up them dirt and steam your face for about 5 minutes then apply the strips :)
