I have mostly dry skin - of course my t-zone is oily...
& I'm on a very tight budget! (Why I call myself a bargainista :])
I wanted to know if anyone has any good foundation primers or if you know of any that are fairly inexpensive?
If so, post 'em!

Hard Candy Sheer Envy primer. It cost about six dollars depending where you live & you can find it at Walmart or at the Hard Candy website. It's a bit troublesome the longer you use it because it tends to get runny with time. Just shake the bottle before every use & you should be good :)

really?! I've always wondered about that brand - but never had the guts to spend the money on it, and not like it. Awesome - thanks!

I ALWAYS recommend ELF's mineral infused face primer. It's only $6 (but more the time yo can get it on sale for even more cheap). I'm sure other primers work better but it works great, plus, I think it's best for a first time primer wearer because it's so inexpensive to try out.

Re: Hard Candy primer.
It's okay but it does have a greasy feeling to it. I no longer use it other than in a couple of videos to demonstrate with. Also Hard Candy does not sell online other than at Walmart.com or in stores (exclusively at Walmart).
My suggestion is if you have a Sephora nearby then to get samples from them. All my department store primers have been samples from them. lol I've yet to pay for a MUFE or Smashbox primer. lol
Mirnita suggested monistat chafing gel and I have to agree with her. Don't let the name put you off. Cost around $6 plus you can get it for less with coupons. The ingredients are basically the same as facial primers: Active: Dimethicone 1.2%. Inactive: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Silica, Tocopheryl Acetate, Trisiloxane.
At Sally's Beauty Supply there is Claudia Stevens Facial Prep Foundation Base which costs under $5 (non-pro price). http://www.sallybeauty.com/foundation-base/SBS-117298,default,pd.html

I completely forgot about the chafing gel - I actually used it before and it was amazing. WOW! Thank you all, I definitely want to try out some different things, but my go-to primer will be the chafing gel! I can't believe I forgot it!
