Weight is an issue for many women. So I thought I'd start this thread in the hopes that other people will also get motivated to get fit and healthy.
So summer is over, uni is about to start soon. I've overdone the ice cream and been binging while holidaying and gained a couple of pounds on top of all the weight that I wanted to lose to begin with! Needless to say, i've been feeling pretty bad slouching in front of the tv and all. So I'm here publicly whoring this out for motivation to actually stick to this instead of giving in to cookies and ice cream as I tend to.
I would ideally like to drop 11kgs but will be happy to losing between 8-11kgs.
Today is Day 1 of my new routine. I started off the day with a medium-high intensity 20 minute cardio session and then do some muscle training (worked on lower body today so legs/thighs/bum) then finished off with a 10 minute intense cardio session. After working out I finally had breakfast: 2 nice boiled eggs with brown bread. Its been such a good way to start the morning! I hope to continue this for a while.
Anyone else have any goals they want to reach? Anyone who has already experienced this and have reached their goals? Do share! ^^

Good Luck in your endeavors! :)
it is hard, but trust me it's possible! I had lost 21lbs and was good at eating better and exercising. but i'm pregnant now with my 3rd baby and STILL am going to stay active during my pregnancy! :)
and i'm planning to lose the baby weight after I have my baby in March 2012.
i used to post my routine's on my blog.. but for a month couldn't go to the gym because doctor said couldn't work out, but gave me the okay and went back yesterday (for my birthday) and was happy i did.
trust me - you can do it! so many people here that are in the same boat as you and will support you :)

and some videos i did of me lifting weights:

p.s. do not be afraid of weights, NO they will not make you "bulky" because as women we are not men- we posses 1/4 testosterone as men do and would be nearly impossible to do so if we are not taking "steroids".
anywho before i keep going - Good Luck! <3
