Hello beauties,
I want to know if there is anyway to reduce your pores and acne scares? Any home remedies you suggest? I have these pores and marks and i'm always unable to cover them much by makeup. When i put my base they turn out to look more horrible. I avoid taking facials because i think it will increases my pores idk if i'm wrong? And in my country we don't good primer base just the drugstores products are available. I heard about apple cider vinegar that it reduce redness, marks and pores but i don't how exactly to use it ?

L'oreal redness primer (a drugstore product) will help a lot, so try getting your hands on them!

I suffer from acne scars too, but have been able to reduce it a lot! I use Retin A ( you will need a prescription) and I have heard Hydroquinone and Kojic acid helps a lot too.

And some natural remedies for scars are:

1. Tomato juice
2. Potato Juice
3. Lime Juice

(alternatively you could keep rubbing them onto your skin) If you use these for a long time ( 3 months) they will fade ! It worked for me !!

Hope you like it :)

I don't know how familiar you are with egg-white masks, but I started using them about a year ago one summer when my pores were really noticeable due to the humidity where I live. The egg-white mask 1-2 times a week definitely decreased my pore size, and also lightened the tone of my skin. The best part is, it is super inexpensive, and it won't irritate your skin. I would definitely use a clarifying mask first though. Try it! ; )

I used the techniques in this vid for my acne scarring: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLQiaO89IFc
And this one to minimize my pores: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bjOB4zS0uE
Along with Philosophy's The Present primer. It is magical for minimizing pores!

Good luck

Try the Monistat chaffing gel as a primer if you can't find an affordable drugstore alternative... it should be in the feminine aisle, but it works well as a primer on a budget! =)

If you don't mind investing, the Clarisonic has GREATLY reduced the size of my pores with continued use. Def. look into it if you're interested.  =)

I hear the egg white mask is good.

I use Cliniques Even Better Dark Spot Corrector and I LOVE IT. It has faded all my scars I almost have none, and I use to have a lot along my chin -___- I have only purchased once bottle and it has lasted me since February. I love it. It is pricey, but it lasts a while I still have some left, and it worked.

I like to paste on a mask of honey and plain oats while I shower. I use it mostly for redness, but the oats are also great to help your skin heal.

lemon juice helps reduce the scares and dark spots, just apply it onto a cotton ball then rub onto your face, best to do at night tho and wash your face before you go out into the sun
