Hey beauties! ;) I kind of know how to contour, but I would love to practice so I can perfect it. I would love to try a cheap contour and blush kit. The bronzers I have are full of shimmer and that just doesnt work. Lol any suggestions? The elf bronzer and blush trio looks promising, but some elf products are misses so I dont know if this one is. Any one's suggestions will be very much appreciated <3

I've purchased the elf duo with some contemplation as well but overall, it's pretty decent and would be perfect for beginners in contouring. The bronzer, I warn you, is VERY pigmented so a little does go a long way. I'm not a fan of the blush as it's too shimmery for my taste, but workable nonetheless. :)
I've also heard very good reviews about the L'Oreal One Sweep Sculpting Duo. Half the pan is a nice matte blush and the other half a nice matte bronzer. Looks promising, I have to eventually try it out myself!
Hope you find what you're looking for, Alexandra! :)

the elf blush and bronzer duo is nice but it's shimmery. the blush has a lot of shimmer to it and the bronzer does as well. i would look into nyc's sunny bronzer (it's $2-$3) and an elf studio blush ($3) in a shade you think you'll get a lot of use out of. if you want to go a little more high end (i believe it's $24), sephora sells a sculpting disk from the sephora collection and it comes with a blush, bronzer & highlight :)

I have two suggestions:
The L'oreal duos are great, but I am reading that they do animal testing? I need to find out for sure. I have two of them, Flush and Poppy, and they really are a no-brainer, just sweep them on and the brush does all the work. I think they are about $12 in my CVS.
I bought the Contour and Blush kit from Coastal Scents, and it has a highlight, contour, and four blush colors: peach, pink, etc. I really like that kit, but you have to use your own brushes to apply.
Hope you find exactly what you are looking for!
