my major was visual arts with a concentration in art history. i am now in my last year of a masters in writing arts with concentrations in creative writing and new media studies. my advice is if you want to do something in art or communications, try to intern somewhere over the summer. get to know people. network. it will help you build a resume and get your foot in the door somewhere.

I have a BA in Communication Studies. I graduated back in 1998. I didn't do anything with my degree as far as Radio or TV, which is what I wanted to get into. I worked in a few different fields since graduation, but have been in Commercial Real Estate now for over 9 years. I like it and see myself staying in Commercial Real Estate.
I've thought about going back to school for a Masters but I just don't have the time right now. Between my job and family, there's little time as it is.

But I also want to do something FUN with my life and not depressing lol. My mind keeps changing as I find different avenues that pique my interest.
