Empty Makeup Packages

As I wrap up my 10 Pan Project, I am thinking about empty makeup packages and uses for them. I know in the past, I've used empty compacts for loose powders or to make my own lipsticks, etc. I'm curious to know...do you guys just throw away your empty compacts (or other empty makeup packages) or do you have any creative ideas you can share as to how you put these things to good use.
