I am using the software that came with my camera, but its a pain. I have tried Windows Movie Maker, but its just an extra step that takes too much time when I am already dealing with about 3 hours to edit and then 4 to upload! Ack!
What kind of camera are you using? If it creates files that you can do in Movie Maker, its pretty user-friendly.
You can also edit in YouTube now!

Jessica, Yes, some of the HD software programs are a pain. It took me a long time, and a couple phone calls to the software company, to learn mine! But, it does a lot of the things that I need it to do. I may upgrade later if needed. I wish you all the best with this! If I may be of help, let me know. Why not try just editing within YT?

I just use Windows Live Movie Maker, I find it really quick and easy to do tbh but depends on what you're comfortable with.
