Hello, Lovelies!
I just received my new Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and when I popped it open to use this morning--it stinks!
Is this normal?

Yes, it smells bad. I wish I could describe it. Let's see, there is liquid that comes out first, then product--and it stinks like chemicals, I guess? I just didn't know if it should be like that?

Sometimes with new primers that liquid is there as a preservative to the product. If it really is bad, you should definitely return it and get a new one.

yeah, i'm not super fond of how tfsi smells, but i can only smell it when i have just applied it and it's still on my fingers.

The first time I used TFSI I was also turned off by the smell and the fact that it seemed like I would always get some clear oil each time I squeezed the tube. I was about to return it but since I had heard such great things about I decided to stick with it. Now I just shake the tube a bit before using it and it seems to work.

For the oil problem, all you have to do is shake the tube and then give it a good "massage" before you use it. For the smell, it shouldn't smell like anything at all actually. Take the product back and exchange it for another one.
