...at the fact that the UK seems to have better drugstore brands than the U.S?

Do you know how nice it'd be to be able to walk into my CVS, pick up a Sleek pallete & go? The fact that we don't have ANYTHING like that makes me so jealous. -_- Their Rimmel line has a Kate Moss lipstick line. Why can't we get stuff like that?!
Oh & Barry M lipstick/nail polishes... don't even get me started. & Max Factor... why in the world would they stop carrying this brand in the US? Oh & Boots!! The list never ends..

What are some brands you wish they could bring to the US? & to people who aren't in the U.S, are there any brands you wish you could bring to your country?

Um... Jealous? Yes! I'm jealous of you folks in the US and the UK. There are so many brands that we can't get here in Singapore: Inglot, Illamasqua, Tarte, NYX, Max Factor. Even Covergirl! I know! The list goes on and on and on.

Seriously, I'd go mental if I ever managed to step on your shores. Le sigh.

Andrea... I completely concur! Grass is ALWAYS GREENER on the other side! I would love to find reg. Bourjouis, Sleek, Barry M., Suqqu, Louise Young, etc. over here without having it specially ordered or bartering an arm and a leg just to get it with someone you hope is not going to swaplift you on MUA. =/

Lex R. - Oh man, I'd go mental if I COULDN'T have Tarte! Their AC blushes are fantastic [I have half of them], and their Maracuja line is fast growing to be one of my all time favorites. I am jealous that you guys do have lesser known brands in Singapore that work just as well though! I've been dying to try Majolica Mallorca [sp?] and a few others.

I do appreciate home though. For all that I'm missing out on, I don't think I could live without my main staples from Tarte, MUFE, Cargo and Stila. [Such a shame Sephora dropped Cargo... and Shu Uemura!]

I'm with Lex. Here we don't have none and even the drugstore items are expensive lol. ( (Revlon Maybeline L'oreal) what we get at reasonable price is Jordana, La Colors Klean color etc. Shipping it to here is one leg and the costums are the other leg and hands haha.

I'm not jealous. The UK has some great products but we have some lines they don't have. I'm jealous of those in Japan though who have access to stuff that we in the UK and those in the UK don't have access to. lol

You know what is really bad... living in a state that is part of the US, but some makeup companies don't ship too. :::COUGH::: NYX!! I waited for the whole annual/birthday sale, and comes to find out they don't ship to Hawaii. Geez... =( We already have a small (and sometimes crappy... I hate it when I go and I see the last final item (that I most likely wanted) touched or tested out on... Ewww!)

Max Factor is still sold in the US, but you have to order it online (drugstore.com).

Virtually all of Boots' No7 line is available at both Target and drugstore.com

Cargo is at ULTA and beauty.com

I wish the US carried Sleek; I don't want to have to order off eBay to get it (I can't order off Sleek's website, and even if I could, the $13.50 shipping charge is, IMO, ridiculous). I also wish we got more of Illamasqua's range over here. I wish Bourjois was still sold here (yeah, ASOS carries it these days, but only select items).

I am constantly swapping with friends in the US, Ireland and the Netherlands. I live right on the border of Canada/US, but I don't usually have the time to drive across the boarder and go on a wild goose chase for LE Wet n Wild products so it's easier for me to ask friends to pick it up if they come across it. I usually swap for Canadian or European brands that aren't easily available in the US/Europe.

I am jealous of all the free shipping that happens in the US!

I'm quite jealous of the US. We don;t have Sugarpill, e.l.f, NYX or Covergirl :( and if we do, it's pretty hard to get hold of because I've never seen any! But I gotta say, I do love our drugstore brands here like MUA, Natural Collection, and Barry M :)

I'm jealous of people living on the mainland! In Hawaii, we don't have any CCO's or Sallys Beauty Supply stores :(
I'm glad we have Target now (even though it's still a far drive from my house). I hope an H&M comes here soon too!

I am definitely jealous of the brands over in the UK. MY father in law is in London right now on business. I should ask him to pick up a few things for me! HA!! I would love some Sleek Palettes!

Trust me, I think us UK-ers are just as 'jealous' of Americans as you are of us! I think we all want what we can't get. I'd love to get access to WetnWild, Covergirl, Physicians Formula, Hard Candy etc etc, luckily I have been sent items by lovely American friends! Also I think it's much easier to return makeup in the US than it is here, that I am jealous of!

& Canada has a lot less then the US for makeup lines... :(

i think we get a lot of good make up here in the US. i do however wish that shipping prices weren't so much between here & there or there was some kind of deal for sites like spend so much, get free shipping. i feel like all companies should have that, though. i dont mind paying international prices if its good make up (like sleek.. which isn't much to begin with!)

just to add...I've actually seen some MAX Factor stuff at Dollar Tree while I was picking up some candy for a movie night. ;)

I agree, Europe definitely has some fantastic makeup brands that we either can't get at all or have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping. :/

There are a lot of international brands I would love to try! But I definitely prefer the U.S. prices compared to their prices. lol

And Sleek lowered their shipping rate to $10.00. Bourjois is available at Ulta stores.

Raisa.... Sleek lowered shipping?!?!?!?!?! Don't get me excited!!!!!! lol

i know right haha the high shipping rate has kept me from spending money :P

Yep! $10 is still pretty high to me, but definitely better than $13.50. lol I'm planning to put in an order soon.

you're right, it is still high. i feel like i could cope with it though because elf's shipping price is $7 and they're from the US which is just not cool haha

I definitely love experiencing other brands from other countries in general! I think sometimes it's just because they're different and sometimes it really is because they're better. I also think we sometimes bring over brands that are considered on the cheap side from other countries and we make a big deal of them here haha.

Either way, I'm thankful I have a few friends/family members in and from other countries so I can try new things here and there, but I wish it was easier to get a hold of new things regularly without paying inflated prices and insane shipping! It's also really hard to shop through other people sometimes. Gotta love our crappy exchange rates right now, too :( Come on USD, makeup lovers need to be able to shop! ;)

I'm from the UK and i get real bad USA envy! We can't get Wet N Wild, EOS, physicians formula and tons of other brands over here. Sleek ship internationally don't they? Although i feel your pain on shipping charges since i've paid about $20 for some stuff to be shipped here. Oh we don't have Bath and Bodyworks! /sobs
:P
