I can't really say how much i spend in total a month on make up..because some products actually last me more than a month as they are my main "go-to" products, but looking back to the earlier days and my progression with make up I would say i spend considerably less now than ti did then because I know what works for me.
PLUS all of the great girls who review here give really good recaps on some of their experiences with cheaper/drug store brands that I used to avoid because I thought that maybe they wouldn't work well with my skin (sounds rediculously pretentious but im not intending to...I was just scared what I put on my face and whether I was doing it right back in the day) that I've found perfectly great acting dupes of high end brands right there that do work great with my routine!
So i would totally say that now a days after researching and reading reviews and really getting a look in on brands that my budget is...just drips and drops as and when :) That's a blessing really!
All the bestest! x

It really depends, but I'd say maybe around $50-$100 a month. Funny though ever since I discovered this website and other people's blogs about makeup I've found myself trying and buying A LOT more things then I use too! :X

I agree with Amanda. Ever since I discovered blogs and YouTube hauls I've been spending at least 200-300 a month on make-up. That's horrible =/

I would go to Sephora monthly and spend $$$. I was like wow, I got to be a Very Important Beauty Insider, didn't know if that was a good thing or bad. But since $$$ is tight these days, I've been going to drug stores and buying products there. This is something I hardly did. But after finding this site, I realize drug store brands are not evil as I thought. LOL So now I spend waaaay less. It does help that most of my beauty products from Sephora or so still have a lot in them....

I agree with Amanda, I've been really bad since discovering YT and blog sites... If I total up all the gadgets and stuff I've bought this year, I'd have to admit I've spent $1k this year alone, but those were big investment purchases that I've wanted for a while now... And I've only splurged because my favorite beauty sources told me to... :)

It's hard to say really. Sometimes I've spent between $70-500 itslike if there is a collection released I might buy all the pieces but if its a hit and miss than I may only get a few things. I watch the YouTube videos but I don't let other peoples opinions influence me not to buy a product. When your a makeup addict your always convincing yourself It's something else you need.

I don't normally have money. If my search for a Summer job is successful though, I'm going to be SO GIDDY with my paychecks.. Like I'd be giddy with a hundred bucks but I'm gonna have way more than that x) I'm just gonna go nuts and spend it so fast. I probably shouldn't do that. But hey! :)

Too much! I've been tring to cut back over the past few months. And I'm planning on not buying ANY makeup this month. I try to make it a game & make it fun so that I can get back to my frugal ways. lol
The only thing I've bought this month so far is some food, bathroom necessities, & some Spring clothes. I'm going to try & be sure not to replace my makeup buying with clothes buying!

right now pretty much none because I dont have a job and I am still paying my student loan payments. But if there is a really good deal I buy some things. Otherwise when I have a job I spend probably $50-75 a month.

I'd say I spend an average of about $50 a month but it varies a lot. I'll tend to run out of a bunch of things at the same time, so I might spend over $100 one month and only $20 the next because the stuff will last a while. (that includes makeup and also things like bath&body products and hair care).

My spending really fluctuates. It seems like I run out of everything at the same time! Sometimes I'll be really good and only spend like $20... but this month I've spent over $200! As long as all of my bills are paid first and I'm not spending every last penny in my account I don't mind though : )

Since I decided to focus on cheaper products to help those money-lacking beauties out there with my reviews, I spend very little on make up each month! Plus I have a lot of make up as it is, and don't need much more at the moment (I am still purring over my NAKED palette I got for Christmas ;D) and to be honest, have mostly bought lipsticks in the last couple of months!

Definitely depends for me. Some months I'll spend under $50 & other months I spend over $100.

Like many of you, it all depends. The average is about $50-$100 per month. A couple of years ago, the average was $100-$300 per month because I wanted everything I saw in the stores. Now, I try to research products more before purchasing and I try to buy things that I know I will use.

On average, $100... Oooops (;
