Just wondering...
How do you color the end of your brushes?
Just one color so that they are identified as yours?
By category...eyes, face, finishing....
Or some other way?

If they are makeup artists or are around other ppl in cosmetology school, they don't want to mix up their investment with someone else's... or it's easier to spot when someone is trying to "borrow" it from you.
Use any color nailpolish you like and just dip the end of your brush into it. Let dry, and voila! You have your colored brushes. =D

Oh, and some people just can't decide what colors to do theirs in, so they might do a rainbow of pastel colors in their set - and they can point out their set is the pastel set. =)

I color all the ends of my brushes pink and then put a tiny dot at the bottom in different colors that represent whether it's eyes, lips, face, etc.. :) it helps especially when you are traveling or other artists are throwing brushes around everywhere so you know which ones are yours :)
