My friend is starting to use liquid liner and purchased one but doesn't like the brush applicator. I want to get her one for her birthday, she wants a liner with a felt tip like brush. Are there any good liquid liners like that in drugstore brands with a tip like that?

NYX is cheap and worked excellent but mine dried up within a month. I don't know if that's just mine or if they're all like that but while it worked, it worked AMAZING! I'm probably gonna try Prestige's next though.

I like the maybelline line stiletto as well and the milani liquid liner!

I would highly recommend Wet'N'Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner! It provides an easy application and amazing staying power. I work 8+ hours at my job and it will not come off unless I start rubbing it off with a makeup wipe. It is around $3.99-$4.99 depending on where you go but I usually get mine at Target. :D

i second the maybelline line stiletto. it's has a long and flexible felt tip liner. it's really great. it lasts all day for me. i highly recommend it. the other liner i've heard that was really good was from l'oreal. it's called lineur intense. it's also a long, flexible felt tip. perfect for reaching the inner corners of the eye and making a thin line.

I've tried maybelline line stiletto and I personally don't like it because it fades over time. I hear the Elf one is supposed to be pretty good, though I've never tried it. I think the only drugstore liner I can suggest that I've liked thus far is L'Oreal Lineur Intense in Carbon Black.

I've tried Maybelline Line Stiletto and ELF Waterproof Felt Pen and I dislike both. They faded on me pretty quick. I do think that Milani make better long lasting liners. Try their eye tech or Physician's Formula lash booster eyeliner. The brush tip is flexible and easy to use.

I used to use CoverGirl Line Exact in very black and loved it. It was long lasting, very pigmented, and easy to apply.

i actually use covergirl liquiline blast. liquid liner in pencil form!! i love it and seems great for beginners. The thing i love most about it, is the rubber smudger on the end. very useful for making a smokey eye. the color payout is phenom also. stays all day with no fading or smudging.

You should get her L'Oreal Lineur Intense in Carbon Black. It goes on so easy and the felt tip applicator is very sturdy and easy to use. She will love it!

Thank you everyone for the recommendations. From what most of you have suggested its most likely between L'Oreal & Prestige. I have a coupon from walgreens so most likely I'll pick up L'oreal because I've had really bad experiences at the rite aid near my home (except for 1 lady they are all a bunch of snotty jerks)

i recommend buying whatever liquid liner you want- brush applicator, felt tip, etc. Then what i do is take my favorite liner brush and get the product on that then use it, this will give you more control and a smaller window for mistakes while still giving you that sleek and sexy line! A great inexpensive liner is the Sephora Brand one or even Wet'N Wild!

@Kim: Prestige is sold at Ulta and some (if not all) Rite Aids (though the products available will vary from store to store). You can also order directly from their website.
