I want to make my first video and I've been putting it off for a long time because I'm afraid it won't be interesting but I'm feeling inspired. Can anyone give me some advice or ideas? What is a good topic for my first video besides a tutorial?

I made my first video only about a week ago so my advice might not mean much but oh well. I made a big list of all the things I wanted to do before I even started. I ended up starting with my Everyday Makeup (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltx-RapNzMU) because I know personally, I love watching that sort of thing. There's not pressure because you're used to what you're doing and everyone is different.
Also, video and sound quality are a big thing for me. Generally if the sound sucks or the video is super pixelated, I don't end up watching.
SMILE! It's so much more fun to watch people who are happy.
I hope that helps!

Your best bet for a video that isn't a tutorial is a review on a product EVERYONE is going to want to search out info on. That means you're going to have to be first in line to get it, and you're going to want to love/hate it enough to write a review. It's the best bet to get any searches for your topic. =)
