Ok! This may sound really weird, but I look horrible when I allow my eyeshadow to go all the way up to my brow[even when I use a bridge color] I can't seem to ever make a highlight look good on my brow. I don't know if it is because I have small eyes and my eyebrows are higher on my face. But every time I try to mimic what I see here or on YouTube I look like I have the longest eyes ever!!! Is this just something I have to teach myself to get pass or are my eyes just too small to have the whole eyeshadow package?!

yes, a picture would definitely be helpful. i have hooded eyes, and so eyeshadow doesn't look good on me when i put it all the way up to the brow. you don't necessarily have to, so just find out how far to go up that will make it look best on you, and stick to that. experiment and see what looks best! for example, i've discovered that for me, eyeshadow looks best when it doesn't go past halfway up between my lash line and brow.

Ok. I will put another pic up as soon as I can. I feel like I just have small lids because when I have color on and my eyes open( so all the time) I can't see any color...just in my crease.

It sounds like you have hooded eyelids. We all have different eye shapes and it takes a while and practice to tweak looks to work for us!

hello, i've got hooded eyes too, but this does not stop me wearing eyeshadow at all. what i learnt was that instead of bringing the colour right up into the creaseline, wing outwards instead, like you would with an eyeliner, and then i try to use a neutral shade as a highlighter. hope this helps.

i cant get my picture to upload, but after staring at my eyes I believe I do have hooded eyes!

@ Mandy K. Thanks for the link! I was so excited to see it, it was super helpful.
@ Sam W. I will try that. Thanks!

I would just add the highlight toward the top (like around the crease) and not go so far up, cause I have the same problem and it still looks fine, even when its ot all the way up there.
