Thanks to information technology nowadays, the odds of you buying into a "dud" have dwindled to almost obsolete. With review sites, YouTube video reviews, and blogs - you can find the next new big thing that will work for you in the blink of an eye...
The downfall to this is that sometimes, these resources are sponsored, or their tastes are subjective and not quite suited for your needs. How do you find your holy-grail products on the market with so many things available to the public nowadays? How do you know certain sites that have reviews of their own products aren't screened and poorly represented? Where do you go for trust-worthy information you KNOW will always leave you with a purchase that keeps that happy smile on your face?

I've never been done wrong with any of the high or low end products I've been directed towards. Every purchase I've made because of their fantastic suggestions have been wonderful additions to my daily routine, and I also cross-reference my finds w/ reviews online on such sites as Beautylish or MakeUpAlley.com.
Share your favorite resources, and share the love!

The only product I've been influenced to buy is nyx. I started wearing mac at 18yrs. And knew nothing about them. And that was because friend left her compact over my house and we were the same complexion. From then that's all I bought nothing else. As the name became more popular so did my urge to buy.some brands offer great products but I don't trust everyones opinion. Ever since they invented the return policy I'm not scared to try anything.

I totally agree, I wish I started reviewing products a long time ago, it would have saved me a lot of money and aggravation. I've never been done wrong with pretty much every product I've researched with reviews from Beautylish.com, total beauty.com or makeupalley.com

Before I found out about Beautylish YouTube played a huge role. I agree that certain "gurus" now everything in every video is sponsored so it's so hard to really trust what they are telling us in their videos. Now a days I just read reviews on here and ask my friends what they've tried out and what they recommend. Some of my girlfriends are just as addicted to YouTube, Beautylish, and blogs as much as I am.

Temptalia. Hands down. Seeing product swatches definitely makes purchasing decisions a hell of a lot easier.
