Does anyone know of any shampoo you can use for oily hair?

You can use any shampoo! If you want something to specifically help your hair type though look for words like 'clarifying' rather than 'nourishing'. Also, there's dry shampoo. Which is a spray/powder that you use when your hair starts to get oily. You don't even have to shower or wet the hair, you just apply to the roots and it'll freshen up your hair. Hope this helped!

If your hair gets really oily, You could just wash it everyday, A lot of people say they only wash their hair every other day but i wash mine everyday and it doesn't hurt it

I went to beauty school. And the best thing for your hair is to not wash it every day. But with me i have extremely oily hair and I hate it because that makes it to were I do have to wash it every day. But I started washing my hair with a cleansing shampoo twice every time I take a shower. which is every other day. But if you notice if you go to a good high end salon most of the time they wash your hair twice, that is because the first wash removes hair products, oil, grease, anything gross on your hair. But the second wash is what actually washes the hair itself. I found that it smoothed my hair and made it wayyy less oily the next day. Also since you are washing your hair twice. I usually allow my conditioner to sit in my hair for at least 2 minutes. Try this out! I hope it helps!

I agree with Lindsey- just cause you have oily hair doesn't mean you should wash it everyday. The more often you wash your hair, the faster it will reproduce the oil in order to try to regulate itself. That's why you also shouldn't use extremely drying or harsh stripping shampoos just because you have oily hair.
I have oily hair as well and try to only wash at most every other day. I usually use a moisturizing shampoo (Alterna Caviar Line) since my hair is long and ends are dry, but I will also shampoo my hair 2x every time I wash it. The first time, I do a once over, scalp to ends, but the second wash I try to focus on my roots and cleansing my scalp to get rid of oily residue and any sebum buildup. The days I don't wash my hair, I use a dry shampoo on my roots (Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo) or I put my hair up.
Hope this helps!

I have really oily hair as well. I wash my hair every day. I have tried not washing it every day and just doing it every other, but my hair looks soo bad that day I can't stand it. I have fine/thin hair and when it gets oily it's very apparent. Dry shampoos help a tiny bit, but I feel like it leaves a gray/white-ish tint to my hair....I try to brush it out as much as possibly, but my hair just looks oily. I'm with you, Evangelina. I don't know what to do....

guyssss this is hurting my heart!! I worked at a very high end salon, and I know that washing your hair everyday, and even every other day is not a good idea! Your scalp produces oils for a reason. It helps to keep the hair healthy and have that natural moisture. If you wash out the natural oils on a daily basis, then your hair wont get any of it. If anything, use a dry shampoo. My favorite is the TIGI Rockaholic Dirty Secret. It's amazing, and I've actually gone a week without washing my hair without it being disgusting!

I promise you'll love it! Just make sure to really shake the bottle, and after you spray it, just run your fingers through it! It'll be your new best friend!

Over the weekend I went two days w/o washing my hair. I washed yesterday and today my hair is much less greasy than it typically is. I have kept it up this entire time to avoid running my fingers through it and making it more oily than necessary. I am hoping I can wait till Wed. to wash it again. I'm hoping it will help with the health of my hair.
I'll probably be trying out that Tigi product tomorrow! : )
