Oh yes! As soon as we moved in together he saw all these products I had and at first he was like why do you have all this crap? And I'm like it's NOT crap haha!
Slowly but surely he started to complain about lil things like dry patches on face, so I gave him Cerave Night Moisturizer and he was amazed! Then it was dry hands, so I gave him the Body Shop's Hemp Hand Moisturizer and he loves it!
Another thing I found funny was he started growing out his hair so one day I was like let me straighten it cause he has wavy hair...I did and he FELL IN LOVE. After that day he would NOT leave the house without straightening his hair! Haha that went on for like a year and finally last week he cut his hair! Oh and he got some split ends (which he had NO idea was) so I gave him TIGI Bed Head Ego Boost Split End Mender.
I could go on and on! One thing though he has huge pores but I don't so I haven't gotten him to try anything yet....anybody have any recommendations??? =)

Yes big time! He actually never used face wash just soap and no lotion! YIKES now he uses face wash in the morning and his Mens Jack black moisturizer with SPF :) He also uses my Yes to Cucumbers Face wipes at night! Little by little I am trying to help him improve his skin! :)

Amanda L. - Queen Helene's Mint Julep Mask - he'll feel silly doing it, but my man enjoys it very much, behind closed doors... haha. Also, I used to get SUPER mad that he'd steal my Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair serum. His face sucked up twice as much product as mine did, so I ran out QUICK. Worked wonders on him though... [Jealous he had crazy drastic results VS. my own] but I hated that he'd get into my expensive goodies without asking... then I'd yell at him for using too much and not knowing how to use it properly [he literally slathered that stuff on his face!] and he'd double back and call me "Shady"!!! =(
My bf had terrible skin before I met him! Huge pores, uneven skin... all remedied w/ a honey asprin mask, serum and mint julep mask. I have to hide my Clarisonic from him and made sure I emphasized that he'd need his own face brush if he wanted to use it, so his laziness has deterred him from stealing mine. He switched from using that gross goopy hair gel to pomade and albeit complaining and crying like a little girl when I pinned him down to tweeze his unruly eyebrows, he nags me twice a month to "Manscape" his brows. He loves looking good, but he's even more grateful he has a gf to blame it all on if any guy dares to say he's "high maintenance"... he also steals my eye creams every chance he gets... [jerk.]
"My girlfriend did it to me, man..." *pretends to be bummed out... with a smile.*

Oh, man! Even if you aren't going to post it, film it anyways! Haha, record your "bonding" experience! I'm sure both of you will get loads of laughs from it... you know, after he finishes crying after his first body waxing experience. =P

No problem, Amanda! The Queen Helene mask is a good thing to "ease" him into, and it won't hurt your beauty allowance... Don't get them too used to the high-end stuff, because soon, they'll be hogging it all up and you'll be contemplating a lockbox for your beauty goodies.. =P

My oldest is about to hit puberty, so I kind of mentioned to him and the hubby, I'm going to have to start a skin care regimine for them soon. My son says, "what is that?" Right now his skin is flawless... well besides the "sun spots" he has. From August to December, my son has tackle football. He practices pretty much practices M-F, 2-1.5 hrs a day... rain or shine (mostly sun). Not to mention his games on the weekends. So just the thought of him collecting sweat, and what not under his helmet... is... gross. Then the rest of the months, we putting him whatever we can.
Anyway, right now the hubby and my eldest son doesn't really do nothing to their face. I doubt they even wash it with regular soap and water. Eeeek. What are some good products for men/adolescent boys?
Although the hubby doesn't wash his face and what not, his face is pretty normal. He doesn't have an acne problem, just the occasional breakout; unlike me... who washes her face 2x a day, and has a so-so regimine going, and yet has acne. Grrr.... Also, what is a good pore minimizing product?

Nope. He doesn't understand anything I do and probably wishes I would just use bar soap and be done with it.

My husband was pretty good at taking care of his skin before we got together.. I remember my first time in his bathroom I did a little snooping (what girl hasn't done this??) and was surprised to see a whole slew of Aveda skincare products. He had a pretty basic cleanse, tone, eye cream, moisturizer routine before but now that we're married, he's upgraded to adding different serums for specific skin concerns (aging & wrinkles from growing up by the ocean), and even has a different routine and products for night time. He LOVES putting on face masks with me, trims his brows, and even tweezes his nose hairs and stray hairs on his neck.
Men love pampering themselves once they find out about different products and their benefits. So cute!

Mandy- Guys LOVE face masks. They might try to resist, but as long as you do it for them they'll eventually relax and coo about how soft/radiant/clean their skin feels afterwards.
Btw, don't you hate that about men? They use nothing and/or anything on their skin and it's still better than ours! My husband occasionally has lazy days where he won't wash his face in the morning, or going to bed- if I did that I would have multiple breakouts + clogged pores immediately!

Yeah, no Mandy. ZERO interest. He thinks he's cleaning the oil off of his face, simply by splashing water on to it. eww. lol.
