One of my favorite masks to use on my dry skin is 1/2 an avocado and 1/4 cup of honey. I mix and mash the two together and slather it on for about 10 minutes before washing it off with warm water and following up with my favorite skincare products. I'm curious to hear what your favorite DIY masks are ladies!

One of the best and most affordable masks is plain baking soda! Mix baking soda and water in to a paste and it will clean and tighten your pores. I have oily skin and this works so well. It's also a great exfoliator.

For a cheaper but effective scrub, I love mixing dry oatmeal, honey, and brown sugar together (mix proportions by eye, you want to get it runny enough to feel good on your skin but still textured enough to work as a scrub).

I put yogurt on my face for maybe 10-15 minutes and then wash it all off. Leaves face feeling soft, smooth, supple and brighter! I get a small tub of plain, thick yogurt and it's enough for one application. It really works. I just can't stand the smell, so I don't use it as often as I would like to.
