What is up with Haute look over pricing items? NYX is on there today and all the items are at least 2x higher then you would normally purchase it for online or the nearest beauty supply store. if they sell anything it wont be from a NYX fan who knows better!!!

Yeah you can seriously get better prices on Cherryculture and the prices are the same all year round! Hautelook does that with a lot of the cosmetics. Sad.

I forgot the pw to my account and requested a new one... never got it. Sent several requests, never got one. Oh well, not crazy about most of Hautelook's prices. Loved the $2 Urban Decay sale. THAT was a crazy deal.

kinda off topic, but since haute look is being discussed, i was wondering if anyone knows why the "estimated delivery date" is so long on the products? i wanted to order some michael todd stuff from there, but they estimated that it wouldnt ship out for a month?

Last time I ordered from Hautelook, it took at least three weeks to deliver. I'm not complaining, because I got a dress that would normally be $120+ for less than $40, but it was kind of a bummer to wait so long. From what I understand, they need to wait for their stock before it can be shipped out. Might be wrong on that one, but from what the site seems to indicate, they need to wait for your order before you do.

Someone else posted the reason before but the gist of it is that you order from HauteLook and they take all those orders to the company and buy the products. They get the products sent to them and then send it out to the customers. They don't have the stock on hand which is why it takes a long time to get the products.

I actually took advantage of SOME of HauteLook's NYX sale (yes, some of them were over priced) but the things i ordered was cheaper than the norm, and HauteLook sale for NYX was cheaper that CherryCulture (for example I got the Ultimate beauty box from HauteLook for $27, while on CherryCulture its $45, and also got CupCakeGloss, all 7 for $8 on HauteLook- on CherryCulture for only 4 was $8)...so you just have to pick and choose what is TRULY a steal.
Thats the same with Black Friday Sales...lol
