Mall is good for a first date! Gives you something to do other than eating and staring at each other :P
Honestly, makeup and style wise, wear something you feel comfortable and cute in, and definitely don't fuss about your makeup. Maybe just take a little more time than usual. There's nothing serious about a first date (: Have fun! ♥♥

I for sure agree with Dylan, the Mall sounds perfect.. although for a shopoholic like me I'm worried I'd scare someone off with my shopping and window shopping habits! But the Mall is a great place to find conversation starters and relax because its not somewhere pretentious . But have fun and enjoy yourself, your gorgeous you'll be fine :) good luck!

mall is great!! :) in fact my boyfriend and i (of a year+) go out to the mall together ALL the time!! Its an in expensive (most of the time ;)) date! My advice for anyone, is NEVER do the movies for a first date! you cant talk and get to know them!! So good choice! Im happy for you that your getting back out there!! I cant imagine how hard everything has probably been!! Goodluck on your date hun!! Just dont let him see wetzels pretzels or gamestop....... thats like a woman seeing a bath and body works ;) haha

I would suggest you do the same neutral look you would do if you were to meet with any of your superiors at work for something important... [something you'd wear makeup-wise while you're accepting a promotion can never go wrong!] It'll be something he'll be used to seeing if it gets serious [a polished work look], and you'll look put together enough to impress. Of course, def. wear something comfy! A huge oversized warm knit sweater and leggings or jeans will def. do the trick.
Save the dark and smokey for date #3 so you can wow the socks off of him... good luck!
PS: don't forget a dab of your favorite perfume behind your ears... so when he hugs you goodnight, he'll get a treat. =)

I agree with Dylan, wear whatever is most comfortable for you! Whether that's neutral, smoky, bright, etc. Be who you are and be confident in yourself :) Have fun!
