i bought some hair extensions online and just got them today! aside from being excited...they smelled like they were processed, kinda like ammonia in hair dye. i washed them to get rid of the smell but the sewn in parts to the wefts still had slight odor. help!!! :(

Where did you order them from? Mine are from proextensions.com and they do have a slight smell that I can't stand. I was hoping when I washed them it would go away, but it didn't. I just make sure to spray body mist on my hair when I wear them. Its not that bad though. Are yours really that bad?

I ordered from ebay....probably not the best bet but I wanted to experiment with hair pieces...I washed them and they smell alot better! But ill definitely be adding some bodyspray to them when I use em. I guess you get what you pay for right lol
